Kerrigan,
Boller & Lowe Co., L.P.A. is the
longest continuously operating law firm in Shelby
County. The firm originated in 1932, when Raymond Boller
came to Sidney to practice. Michael Boller joined his
father in 1966, creating Boller & Boller, Lawyers.
Raymond Boller passed away in 1969, and Michael Boller
formed a partnership with James Stevenson in 1975.
In 1984, Thomas Kerrigan Sr. and his son Thomas
Kerrigan II joined to form Kerrigan, Boller &
Stevenson Co. Duane Goettemoeller became a shareholder
of the firm in 1985 to form Kerrigan, Boller, Stevenson
& Goettemoeller. Thomas Kerrigan Sr. retired in 1993
from the practice of law after serving as the Shelby
County Juvenile and Probate Judge. James Stevenson was
elected judge of the Shelby County Court of Common Pleas
in November 2006. Duane Goettemoeller was appointed
Municipal Court Judge, then won election in 2011.
Royce Link joined the firm in 2014.
